Hello
Welcome to Wednesday Wishes … this time with a working link. Sorry to intrude into your inbox twice this morning.
Time to draw breath this week but still lots to see. Head over to the Strand for new exhibitions at the Courtauld and to explore a church just released from decades marooned on a traffic island. Over on the south bank the areas rich medical history is being celebrated with a week long festival.
Last night I headed to Greenwich for a new production in time for Trafalgar Day and Hallowe’en in the Admiral’s House but the fire brigade arrived just before we did and the show will have to wait until another day. Our sojourn in Greenwich this time was short, but I can commend The Old Brewery were we had eaten a swift pre-theatre dinner and wished we had lingered longer. If you are pondering half term outings the Cutty Sark, the Painted Hall and Queen’s House make for an excellent outing. Plus Nelson’s Standard is on show at the Maritime Museum in time for both Trafalgar Day and half term.
Happy Culturing
Catherine
