Welcome to Wednesday Wishes, this week a summer edition as I’m off on adventures in August.
This week Luke Jerram’s Mars in Kensington, Modern and Contemporary Arab Art at Christies and Royal Robes at the Royal School of Needlework. Book of the week The List will get you thinking about #MeToo and the impact it has on all concerned when an accusation is made.
A couple of weeks ago I spent some time exploring Buckinghamshire. Some places I knew about and had visited before like Waddesdon Manor, Bletchley Park and Stowe Landscape Gardens but others where new to me. Did you know that you can visit Stowe House? No me neither, I’d always assumed it was a school and so out of bounds, turns out both that you can visit and that it is stunning.
The third episode of our podcast The Exhibitionists is out. This one is all about our six best places to see photography in London. Tap on the button to take a listen. Let me know what you think, what you would like to hear in future episodes.
Well that’s it from me until September. This week I’m off to Charleston Farmhouse and the Langley Vale Centenary Wood. Later in the summer we are heading to Austria to see what Vienna, Linz and Salzburg have to offer. All tips gratefully received.
Have a culture filled summer and see you again in September.
