Hello
Nine days after I tested positive for Covid I finally kicked the virus into touch. This week’s Wednesday Wishes features fashion at both the Museum of London and 180 Strand. Japanese myths and photography at Young V&A and the Hayward and Dürer’s woodcarvings at Strawberry Hill House.

Covid was vanquished just in time for me hop on a train Antwerp. I’m here with Visit Flanders to see Turning Heads: Bruegel, Rubens and Rembrandt an exhibition devoted to the practice of drawing heads and then using the images time and time again in crowd scenes. I’m really looking forward to looking for familiar faces in the crowd and the show is one of my exhibitions worth travelling for this year.
Head over to the Natural History Museum this Friday evening for its Late event focussed on Fashion. There will be talks, a catwalk show of nature inspired clothes an a stitch, sew and restyle workshop among many other events. Attendance is free but you do need to book a ticket via the Natural History Museum website.
Happy Culturing
