Welcome to Wednesday Wishes.
Well the Teens are now Young Men. We celebrated with them in York. Marvelled that Young Man One chose not only the furthest mainland UK University away from his brother but also the most remote campus. I am typing this in Falmouth and by the time it pops into your inbox we’ll be heading back home. Once back I’m heading out at the end of the week to see gorgeous golden treasure at the British Museum.
Last year the Cultural Wednesday family spent part of our holiday in the Dutch region of Brabant. Vincent Van Gogh lived in Brabant and a brand new museum has opened up in Nuenen the village where he lived with his family. Another excellent reason to visit this quiet corner of The Netherlands.
Unless you have been under a rock since last September you will now that this weekend is Coronation weekend. If you intend to celebrate in London take a look at my guide to everything you need to know about the Coronation.
If taking a walk well away from bunting is your intention this weekend I have good news. Finally the Woodland Trust carpark has opened at the Langley Vale Centenary Wood in Epsom meaning that visiting the various sculptures and bluebell woods is now a lot easier.
Happy Culturing
