Train strikes will keep me at home for the rest of the week but I have been busy flitting around London seeing as many new things that I can before the close down. Philip Guston at Tate Modern, Idris Khan and Annie Morris at Pitzhanger Manor and Georgian Illuminations at the Soane Museum. Elsewhere I have been into the Hellenic Centre for the first time despite walking past it daily for years and the checked out the new exhibitions at the Centre for British Photography. What I am missing today is Christo at 4 Princelet Street but will be there to explore just as soon as the trains let me.

This is not a passive sit and watch performance you explore all parts of the hall … auditorium, Purcell Room, backstage dressing rooms, green rooms, technical spaces and foyer as you follow the performers.
